Installations & honors highlight Federation’s 87th Annual Meeting

SUPER SUNDAY 2010
Do a world of good by volunteering on Super Sunday/Super Week 2010
      A wise man once said, “Many hands make light work.” This truly applies to the Jewish Federation’s Super Sunday/Super Week, a community-wide phone-a-thon that raises funds for the Annual Campaign. This year’s 30th anniversary event will take place on Jan. 31 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Weinberg Jewish Community Campus in Cherry Hill.

YOUNG WOMEN’S DIVISION
     The Young Adult Division (YAD) of the Jewish Federation recently gathered together at Scaturro’s Restaurant in Marlton for a “Brews with Jews” Happy Hour. The evening provided the gathering of 20 young men and women with an opportunity to network, mingle and cheer on the Phillies.

Mitzvah Day restores cemetery
     Nearly 25 volunteers, including Jewish Community Foundation and Jewish Federation donors, staff, and lay leaders, participated in a recent Mitzvah Day project to paint the fence surrounding New Camden Cemetery. This was the second year in a row sections of the fence were painted.
