They learned about the holiday, ate in the sukkah, and had an opportunity to say the blessings over the lulav and etrog. The Jewish Federation Dept. of Jewish Education (DJE) is seeking graduates from the Midrashah Hebrew Junior College for this year's upcoming 60th Graduation Event to be held May 23, 2010. The DJE is seeking volunteer alumni to serve on the event committee, and is also seeking alumni names and contact numbers. Event organizers are also seeking graduation programs and other memorabilia from Midrashah, especially for the 1970s and 1980s. Frenkel credits the rabbi at the synagogue where she grew up, Temple Emanu-El in Oak Park, Michigan, for inspiring her to become a rabbi.
