Volunteers from throughout the community helped stock the shelves of the Samost Jewish Family and Children's Service Food Pantry prior to the holidays. Area synagogues, the Katz JCC, and individuals donated 179 bags and 94 boxes of food, not including 152 lb. of food that JFCS gave to the South Jersey Food Bank. "In my 20 years with JFCS, I have never seen a community response like this," said Board President Michele Ettinger. The event was co-chaired by Ruth Manin and Margot Kaminer.
