Holocaust memorial dedicated in memory of Peter Schmeidler

Temple Sinai in Cinnaminson recently dedicated a Holocaust memorial Jewish Community Voice in memory of Peter Schmeidler. Born in Mannheim, Germany, Peter Schmeidler and his family fled in 1938 following the infamous Kristallnacht pogrom. Many of his relatives did not survive the Holocaust. Following his death in 2008, Peter's wife Lois and his family commissioned nationally known artist David Ascalon to create a Holocaust memorial. Standing next to the Holocaust memorial that the Schmeidler family donated to Temple Sinai are Lois Schmeidler and Rabbi Steven Fineblum.
