There are many jokes about Jews being a people who worry excessively. One old (very old) joke has a Jew sending a telegram to a fellow Jew with the line: "Start worrying now. Bad news to follow." Rosh Hashanah, however, is not a time for pessimism. It is a time to be optimistic and a time to look forward to the coming year as one of potential. More ... |
