Local rabbis wonder what's ahead for Michael Vick
When Eagles owner Jeff Lurie snapped up the Pro Bowl quarterback and convicted animal cruelty dog fight promoter Michael Vick, he unleashed (pun intended) heated emotions from Delaware Valley football fans as well as people who wouldn't know the meaning of an onside kick or interception if they witnessed it first hand at the Linc.

Rosh Hashanah greetings from Federation's president
I assumed the presidency of The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey almost one year ago. It is fair to say that it has been a year of both challenge and opportunity. Our economy is experiencing its worst recession since the Great Depression. The economic downturn has hit virtually every part of our society; not the least of which is the non-profit world.

Dreaming of those magical days when the school year began anew
SALLY'S WORLD
No more first days of school at our house. No one to send back to third grade or sixth or eleventh. No one in blue jeans heading off to a college dripping with ivy. But no matter.

iPhone apps help you keep in touch with your spiritual side
COMPUSCHMOOZE
Ten years ago, everyone thought they needed a website. So much so, that a popular way to get a laugh from someone was to take the sentence they just said and add "dot com" to it. Now, it seems everyone thinks they need an Apple iPhone application.
