Grandfather of five and great-grandfather of three. More ... Marcel Singer, who fled the Nazis in 1938 and spoke about his Holocaust experiences, died July 12. A Cherry Hill resident, he was 88. A native of Austria, he fled the Nazis in 1938. He lived in Hong Kong and Shanghai. In 1949, he came to the United States. He had a butcher shop in New York for many years.
