Lieberman & Zive to chair Super Sunday/Super Week 2010

RONALD LIEBERMAN RONALD LIEBERMAN Ron Lieberman and David Zive will co-chair the Jewish Federation's Super Sunday/Super Week 2010, announced David Farber, Federation president.

"While these are indeed tough economic times, the mission of the Annual Campaign is not in recession," said Zive. "To the contrary, the tougher the economic times, the greater the demand from our community for the financial and social service resources our Federation and its agencies provide."

Super Sunday 2010 will be held on Sunday, Jan. 31 at the Weinberg Jewish Community Campus in Cherry Hill, with the four days of Super Week following during the evenings of Feb. 1-4.

Dollars raised during Super Sunday/Super Week are used to support the programs and services provided by the Jewish Federation for Jews locally and globally. Over 500 volunteers are needed to participate in this important fundraising effort.

"On Super Sunday, more than just about any other day during the year, we as a community can see who we are and just what we can do together," said Lieberman. "In fact, Super Sunday/Super Week has a major impact on the total dollars raised each year for the Federation Annual Campaign. It is the cornerstone event in Federation's annual fundraising efforts, and its success depends heavily on the broad-based support of our community—as volunteers and donors."
