Temple Sinai presents awards

Temple Sinai in Cinnaminson recently presented its Madeline and Alan Kessler Memorial Awards, which provide full scholarships to Temple Sinai Religious School or Midrashah. Awards went to four high school students who demonstrated outstanding character, scholarship, and commitment to Jewish education.

Winners were Liana Abramson, daughter of Randi & Howard Abramson; Laura Hyder, daughter of Shari & Carl Hyder; Dylan Osmun, son of Linda & Rodney Osmun; and Laura Weiner, daughter of Ellen & Lou Weiner.

The Madeline and Alan Kessler Memorial Award is made possible through the continued generosity of Selma Kessler, Alan Kessler's wife, and Madeline Kessler's daughter in-law and devoted member of Temple Sinai. This gift memorializes Madeline Kessler, a founding member of Temple Sinai and an active adult Hebrew student. Alan Kessler was the second president of Temple Sinai and was active in the construction of the synagogue. .
