JFCS hosts May 6 Annual Meeting
      Michele Ettinger will be sworn in for a second consecutive term as president of the Board of Trustees of Samost Jewish Family and Children's Service. Federation President David Farber will officiate at the agency's Annual Meeting on May 6, 7:30 p.m. at the Weinberg Jewish Community Campus.

A child survivor's story to be told at Yom Hashoah Observance
      Jewish children were hidden in many places to keep them alive during the Holocaust. Our community has several prominent citizens who were such children. Living in Poland, Kim Fendrick's family, including Kim as a child of seven, hid in a space that her father had dug behind the stairs of their cellar until they had to flee to other hiding places.
