LimmudPhilly will bring the international learning festival to the region for the first time on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 21 and 22. The event will feature over 90 sessions with 70 scholars, educators, and artists from around the world. Sessions will be held at the University of the Arts and the Gershman Y.

On Saturday evening, LimmudPhilly will begin with a Havdalah candlelight and spice ceremony. Sessions focusing on Jewish art and music will follow, with local Jewish bands and a performance by New York City's Folksbiene Troupe, the longest running professional Yiddish Theatre in America. There will be a late-night jazz social with drinks and desert.

Sunday morning sessions begin at 7:30 a.m. and include a comprehensive schedule of programming, with up to a dozen sessions to choose from each hour. In between studies, people can shop at the shuk (market) and the bookstore. A kosher continental breakfast, lunch, and all-day snacks are included in the registration.

Tickets are $18 for children 18 and under, $36 for young adults up to age 30, and $54 for adults over 30.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.limmudphilly. org/register or by phone at (267) 235-4083. .
