Beth El children, JNF, raise funds for underground Sderot play area


Students in Cong. Beth El's 6th grade class recently participated in the Jewish National Fund's (JNF) "Let Us Play" day. JNF's nationwide program seeks to raise funds to build an underground playground for the children of Sderot, Israel, a town on the Gaza border that is the target of shelling and rocket fire. Among those raising funds for the playground were (from left), Norah Shaaltiel, Amanda Hochberg, and Rebecca Wilen. Students in Cong.
