Aux. at Lions Gate sets event
     The Jewish Geriatric Home Auxiliary at Lions Gate will hold its paid up membership meeting at Lions Gate on Thursday, Sept. 18, at noon. News analyst Susan Myers will keynote. Samost JFCS expands kosher meals
      The Senior Services Department of Samost Jewish Family and Children's Service will offer a Kosher Meals on Wheels Program to interested community members of all ages in the Burlington, Camden and Gloucester County area, starting today. Each meal is accompanied by a dinner roll or bread and dessert. The meals are priced at $6 per meal, and can be arranged for pick-up.

ABC Festival plans underway

JCF distributes 28 grants to local community
      The Jewish Community Foundation Board of Directors approved the distribution of 28 Spring Grants to community organizations for new and innovative programming. The total value of the grants is $202,750. The JCF awards grants twice a year by way of its Grants Committee, co-chaired by Marcy Sanders and Eytan Irwin.

Me'ah tuition eased for seniors

Area teens to compete in Maccabi Games
      Seventy eight teen athletes and 13 arts oriented teens representing the Katz JCC in Cherry Hill will participate in the JCC Association Maccabi Games and ArtsFest. The Games, now in their 26th year, offer an athletic, cultural, and social experience for Jewish youth. ArtsFest, entering its third year, celebrates Jewish teens who have a passion for the arts.
