Medford Chabad to hold seder
      Commemorate the Exodus from Egypt with Chabad in Medford at a Community Passover Seder on Saturday, Apr. 19 at 8 p.m. The event will be held at the Lake Pine Colony Club, 21 Chestnut Rd., Medford. The cost is $36 for adults and $18 for children. All are welcome, and nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.

      Harvey Sheldon, author of "Emmis," will sign books at the Borders Express, 2000 Rt. 38 in Cherry Hill, on Saturday, Apr. 12 from 3-5 p.m. "Emmis," which means truth, is about the Holocaust and the media. The book features a chapter by award-winning journalist Marvin Kalb. .

"Musical" Purim at TBS
     It was a "High School Musical" at Temple Beth Sholom this Purim. The staff dressed-up as TBS cheerleaders, basketball players and coaches. They performed a Purim version of "We're All in This Together." Joining in the fun were (from left), Rabbi Micah Peltz, Jennifer Stofman, Jerry Ackerman, Tamar Barkan-Shamir, Rabbi Steven Lindemann, Dina Eliezer, Ellen Berju, Rabbi Joel Levenson and Eric Jacobs. Prominent artist on display at TBS
      The vibrant artwork of Ce'san d'Ornellas Levine of Toronto is being showcased at The Stanley and Doris Ravitz Art Gallery at Temple Beth Sholom through April. Levine's artwork and spirituality have been influenced by the petroglyphs of the Algonquin Shamans, Kandinsky, and Japanese Buddhism. Themes of freedom, intensity and compassionate optimism are present in her work.

      A modern version of "Little Red Riding Hood" had the audience rolling in the aisles during March 19 and 21 performances. The Saltzman House Players, performed the beloved fairy tale at their residence on the Weinberg Community Campus to cheers and applause from their families, friends and neighbors.
